Gold Class Giveaway: Terms and Conditions

A Little More Imperfects LIVE at the Balwyn Cinema

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in The Imperfects’ Gold Class Giveaway (“Giveaway”). The Giveaway is organised by The Imperfects Podcast Pty Ltd (“Organiser”). By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

Employees, representatives, and immediate family members of the Organiser, and any individuals directly involved in the administration of the Giveaway, are not eligible to participate.

Giveaway Period

The Giveaway opens on Wednesday 3 June 2026 at 5:00am AEST and closes on Tuesday 30 June 2026 at 9:00am AEST (“Giveaway Period”). Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.

How to Enter

To enter the Giveaway, you must complete all of the following steps during the Giveaway Period:

1. Be an active paid subscriber to The Imperfects on Patreon, or an active subscriber via Apple Podcasts.
2. Listen to the designated episode of A Little More Imperfects to obtain the entry code word.
3. Visit the competition entry page and submit the entry form, including the code word obtained in step 2.

Only one (1) entry per person is permitted via this method.

Referral Program

Upon completing your entry, you will receive a unique referral link (“Referral Link”). You may earn additional entries into the Giveaway by sharing your Referral Link as follows:

• Each person who uses your Referral Link to subscribe to a paid tier of The Imperfects’ Patreon for the first time will count as one (1) additional entry on your behalf.
• Referrals are only valid for new paid Patreon subscribers. Existing Patreon subscribers, people who have previously held a paid Patreon subscription, and Apple Podcasts subscriptions do not qualify.
• All referrals will be verified by the Organiser. Invalid, duplicate, or fraudulent referrals will be disqualified.
• There is no cap on the number of additional entries you may earn through referrals, subject to verification.
• The referred person does not need to enter the Giveaway themselves for the referral to count.

Prize

One (1) winner will receive the following prize package (“Prize”):

• Two (2) x tickets to A Little More Imperfects – Live at the Balwyn Cinema on Wednesday 19 August 2026, featuring a live episode recording with Dr Emily Musgrove (valued at AU$45 each)
• One (1) night of accommodation in Melbourne for two people (valued at AU$500)
• Return transport for the winner and one (1) guest to and from Melbourne. The form of transport provided depends on the winner’s location:
  • Interstate and New Zealand winners: Return economy flights for two people from the winner’s nearest capital city airport (valued at up to AU$2,000), plus an Uber voucher valued at AU$200 (AU$100 each way) for return transfers between Melbourne Airport and their accommodation. Travel between the winner’s home and their departure airport is the winner’s own responsibility and is not covered by the Prize.
  • Metropolitan Melbourne winners: A private vehicle transfer for two people from the winner’s nominated address to their accommodation and return (valued at up to AU$2,000).
  • Regional Victoria winners: Return transport for two people from the winner’s location in regional Victoria to Melbourne, arranged by the Organiser (valued at up to AU$2,000). Travel between the winner’s home and the arranged transport pick-up point is the winner’s own responsibility and is not covered by the Prize.
• One (1) bottle of champagne (valued at AU$80)
• Food at the event (valued at AU$50)

Total prize value: up to approximately AU$2,920.

The Prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other alternatives. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any element of the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the specified prize or any component becomes unavailable for any reason.

Winner Selection and Announcement

One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period, following verification of all referrals.

The draw will take place after the close of the Giveaway Period. The winner will be notified via the email address provided at entry within twenty-four (24) hours of the draw.

The winner must respond to the notification within forty-eight (48) hours of being contacted. Failure to respond within this period may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.

The winner will be publicly announced on Monday 7 July 2026 via The Imperfects’ official channels.

Consents

By entering the Giveaway, you acknowledge that your email address and entry information will be collected and used by the Organiser to administer the Giveaway, contact the winner, and subscribe you to The Imperfects’ email newsletter. This newsletter subscription will be clearly disclosed at the point of registration. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.

Privacy

By participating in the Giveaway, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal information, including your name and email address, by the Organiser for the purpose of administering the Giveaway and contacting the winner.

The Organiser will handle your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. For further information on how your personal information is used and protected, please refer to The Imperfects’ Privacy Policy.

General Conditions

The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway at any time without prior notice, including in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

The Organiser accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any technical failures that may prevent an entry from being received.

The Organiser is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Giveaway, or by the acceptance, use, or enjoyment of the Prize.

By entering the Giveaway, you agree to release and hold harmless the Organiser and its employees, officers, directors, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway or the Prize.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

These Terms may be updated at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to review them regularly.
