Dilruk Jayasinha is a Sri Lankan Australian comedian

Having moved to Melbourne to study accounting at University, Dilruk’s career working for one of the “Big Four” came to a sudden end after he took the stage at an open mic night in 2010.

Since that night, Dilruk’s comedic talent has gained recognition through his soldout stand-up shows, leading to appearances on popular Australian TV shows like Have You Been Paying Attention? and Utopia.

In 2018, Dil received one of the highest accolades in Australian entertainment, the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent at the 2018 Logie Awards.

He has performed stand up on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala, Just For Laughs and has recorded his own special for Prime Video, Bundle of Joy.
