Growing up in Ballarat, Mitch Brown spent his formative years playing basketball and footy alongside his twin brother, Nathan.
At 17, Mitch journeyed to the other side of the country when he was drafted into the West Coast Eagles AFL Team.
His identity now solely wrapped in performance, competition and strength, Mitch debuted in round one of 2007, and after missing the entire 2008 season with a knee reconstruction, was named as Rising Star in round 19 of 2009.
Throughout the ten years of his playing career, Mitch solidified himself as a solid centre-half back, playing 94 games for the West Coast Eagles.
On August 27th, 2025, Mitch Brown became the first openly bisexual man in the AFL’s 129 year history.
