Georgie Gardner

Channel Nine veteran Georgie Gardner is a news presenter, journalist and current presenter on Nine News Sydney.

She began her career in Perth before moving to Sydney, where she worked as a reporter and news anchor for Channel Nine, later gaining widespread recognition as the co-host of Today.

As the only Australian news presenter to have presented the late news bulletin on each of the three major commercial TV networks throughout their career, Georgie has filled in as presenter of the Ten Late News, been a full-time presenter of Seven Late News, and a substitute presenter on late night Nine News.

Off air, Georgie is a RedKite Board Director and, in 2024, helped create the Kids Cancer Conversations podcast which tells the stories of families with lived experiences of childhood cancer.

Georgie is also an ambassador for the charities Raise, The School for Life Foundation and You Choose.
